At this point with a continuation in driving the car and seeing that pic above, I'd be looking at replacing a bottom end too, or at the very least inspecting the bearings. Oil and coolant are never a good mix and you're passing it through the bearings. In doing so, coolant doesn't lubricate like oil and you'll kill the bottom end, even if it isn't immediately noticeable. Plus, the sludged up mix is going to be everywhere inside the engine. Quit driving it and get it fixed.

If anyone has a set of them they're willing to give, send them my way!

It's not producing the sweet smell or rough idle anymore on cold starts, no excessive amount of smoke, just moisture from a cold morning. It's acting normal.... Does that make sense? I'm taking it in for an oil change as a cheap way to see if anything is truly wrong still or if I'm paranoid.

I see it, no worries. I'll take a look and see if I can replicate anything.

Good luck, it was easier to have you look up the video than write a whole dissertation of how to check without tearing down a engine. most are quite simple and they do make a test kit the checks for gasses in the radiator.

If its dropping coolant, its bad news. Doesn't matter if its making a smell.

Why did you remove the grill shutters? That might be something I want for my car.

Best to get the car looked at, or you might find yourself posting in this section:

I mean....milkshake oil, dropping coolant, white smoke out of the exhaust, sweet smell...

How many more symptoms of a hurt motor are you looking for exactly? Longer you drive it the worse the damage will be to the bottom end. At a minimum you need to get that oil out of the motor and put new in. Might buy you a few more miles.

I have to find a new dealership to hopefully help me out. Maybe even taking it to Livernois who's local and I'm pretty sure does this kinda work. I'm getting the oil changed right now.

This is an uphill battle for me.

Also, anyone have an source or link to shop manuals for this car/motor? I'm tempted to dig into this and do it myself and put a stronger gasket and head studs in.

I saw 2015 Mustang manual on Chilton website. They list all three engines.

There is a posting on M6G , shop manual for GT350, $177. Might be a listing for other cars as well.

Is Chilton a reliable site?

no idea. Probably works best if you have a second car, and time and space to work on your current car. Path of least resistance is likely just put the OEM grill back on. Maybe they will install a gasket and other parts that you buy and give them.
