how to mod cover to fit GT350 IM?

searched and found a thread with a result of "do a search". searched more, found nothing. I know some trimming is necessary but has anyone done this themselves that can share some info one what all is necessary??

I believe JDM Engineering does it for in-house GT350 IM installs

Yes, some trimming form the backside is required or you can always modify the Charge Motion Control actuators because they stick out more.

any pics of the trimming required? i compared your pic to my cover and it doesnt look trimmed yet in that photo?

Forgot to take some pics after trimming - sorry. No specific measurements here - freestyle with dremmel without going full gorilla on this thing
The main problem now is that you can't remove it without removing the strut tower brace first - I was never a big fan of that cover honestly so I might just discard it permanently.

It looks better without the cover that's why I never bothered with trying to get it back on.

Looks good, clean, some good upgrade choices like the overflow cover. There's a little extra hoses/wire wraps showing, but it looks functional.

You need to get the GT350 coil covers. They are black and they look so much better with the GT350 IM over the stock gray ones.

I could just take them off and paint them black but I'm thinking of having them painted ruby red!
