I've tried NGK, Denso, and Brisk. I like the NGKs the best. The Densos are good but appear to wear really fast.

To decrease the gap, it'd lightly tap them on a block of wood. You'll get a feel for it. Gap them to 0.026 too.

As far as time goes, probably about thirty minutes. It's not hard at all.

The Densos were pregapped at 0.28 I think, which is a nice selling point, but there's not much to closing the gap on the NGK's. I'm happy with mine.

So in a way it's pretty much fool proof
Take the cover off, unscrew the coils, pop out old spark plugs, and most likely replace with NGK - I do have a manual torque wrench. The only action it's seen is the wife using it to beat me up with (kidding) but what torque would I use to install the NGK spark plugs?

Same as I did for mine. I left my socket on just the extension and hand tightened until it got firm, then gave it that 1/8th twist with the handle attached. Been runnin super smooth for like... 500 miles?

Idk, my dad's been a long-time grease monkey and insisted that he hasn't had anything weird happen from not using a torque wrench. Maybe he's right.

Quick question. My plugs came in this afternoon. Plan on putting in the NGK spark plugs tomorrow. How easy/hard is it to just get the coil packs out once you removed the bolts. Any magic to that? I want to make sure I don't put too much pressure pulling them out.

Once the bolts are removed you can just yank them out. No magic

They come right off. Under the coil pack is a big rubber stopper, pulling them out should be no problem.

Just make sure you have a spark plug socket with the rubber in it.

Sparks installed - To close the gaps I used the suggestion of tapping the ends on a piece of wood. Went in really easily as you guys stated

we really like the brisks, same thing we run in our coyote cars, the nice thing about the brisk, if you would lose a tip for some reason

it will melt before having a chance to destroy the cylinder

part # is rr14ys

if your a race only application, they do make an rr14s as well, although I doubt too many of these are race only
