Is it required that the N gauge be mounted in your car somewhere or can you just load the tune and throw it in a box in your garage somewhere? I kind of like the look of being stock while not actually being stock, so just curious?

no need to keep it plugged in . load the tune then throw it in the junk box

Plus, if you did want to monitor some of the parameters down the road, just plug it in and read what you need to. Then unplug and store it in the garage or where ever until you need it.

You should always keep any handheld tuning device with the car, even if in the glove box. If you have a problem or get stranded somewhere you will need it.

I agree with this statement.

Yes, you can just load the tune, unplug it and set it aside as mentioned here, but we highly recommend keeping it in the car for the reason above. :thumbsup:
