How much more HP / TQ do you think would tuners be able to get out of the new coyote engine with direct / port injection?

Another take your best guess thread. :D

your closest bet is the Lexus RCF/GSF engine which is a 5.0 direct injection with 12.3:1 CR which makes 467 hp, and gains 30 rwhp from an exhaust

I hope to see 465+ from the stock engine and we should see a good increase in torque with the new fueling.

Tune only, I'd expect 20-25hp. FBO is where the interesting gains will come in.

The better the engines get from factory the less and less "easy" aftermarket gains come. Look at the coyotes and lack of people doing cams. Cams just don't produce the results they once did.

Seems to be best back for the buck anymore is slap some boost on and call it a day but even that is 5k plus.
