Never had a problem with mine, but I dont power shift. I only quick shift.
I go from 1-6 with no issues, even at high speeds & rpms. Take it back to the dealer and lol, if your new to manual it might take some time getting used too

The apologists are so quick to accuse people of not knowing how to drive a manual. I drove one for 9 years before buying my car, that's why I knew I wasn't going to tolerate it.

I get it from time to time. I get it quite often from 1-2. When the motor is still torquing to the side, it refuses to go in gear. I've learned to just give it an extra .25 to .5 second to calm before shifting. Sucks, but it's my fix till the MGW goes in. Scared the shit out of my girl the first time it happened. Wrote it off to her as a safety hazard so I'm cleared for buying one :D

I never had this problem. I do have the FTBR bracket which moves the shifter to trans mounted and it's great. Lots of cabin noise, but almost no shifter problems other than the cold 1-2 shift.

Calling out OKC #1 spot after axle back install.
Blowfish and boomba are the same bandaid with a different sticker. They will not resolve your issue.

My 2012 had an mt82 I changed out EVERYTHING but the clutch. Bushings, brackets, shifters ,clutch line, dot 4 fluid you name it.
They all made the transmission a little better, but none could fix my high rpm lockout.
I didn't want to spend the money on a clutch that may not work, so I sold the car and picked up an AUTO 2015.

I saw a lot of bs claims and fell for every one of em.

Listen to the douche bag, he has seen his fair share of mt82s

hit me up with parts list prior to selling :)
Lol. That's the issue put to much love in to it to give up yet. I'm going to try the boomba bracket along with a few more miles see what happens. Then I'll let the dealer look at it.
