Hello everyone,
I've been a long time lurker and i"m finally able to pick up a GT. ive managed to find a dealer with a left over 2015 GT Premium. the MSRP on the car is 42,890, they have it listed for 37k roughly it has 600 miles on it.i dont have know whats on the window sticker but it looks like it has the 401a and 6speed auto transmission. I have seen some left over 16's with similar msrp go for around 32/33k. would it be realistic to get them down to 30k or even less possibly? i would really appreciate any help. I'm really hoping to finally join the club.

I wouldnt buy a new 15 unless it was under $30k. Regardless of the options. Its about to be 3 model years old.

Its not a deal at that price.

Inventory on the used GTs are odd at the moment. I just bought my base for more than i thought its worth. But it was just one of a handful in 500 radius (cars, autotrader, craigslist) less than 30k. It was the only preowned GT for sale locally in the last three months. So really the price was relatively competitive.

I agree with above post, <30k sounds right. Aren't we expecting to see all the 2015 leases and the rental companies dumping into the market thier 15s this year? You don't have to buy a rental or lease, but would help on market price. Also you have the 2018 trade ins at end of year. Its up to you the cost of waiting.

Definitely not a good deal. I'd make them an offer of $29K and if they don't take it, walk.

That price is an insult, I'd find another dealer. You can get a new '17 GT Premium PP with just about every option available for the price they are asking. I wouldn't pay a penny more than 29.5K

If your willing to fly or drive, look at Ford Autonation, Katy Tx. Big inventory on Mustangs and all discounted. I bought my GT vert from em at around 20% off msrp. Atleast it gives you an idea on other prices.
