Very surprising - no bump for the new model year.
Yup.... you figured maybe Ford would want a piece of that ADM fiasco.

Kudos to Ford for tailoring the packages closer to what I think most of us want with no price increase.

A 2017 electronics pack car with stripes is $59,970 vs $56,970 for a 2016 track pack with stripes. Now I can get Recaros, nav, and a not quite as shitty stereo just like I wanted.

Did these numbers come from a Ford document? Are the prices for the packages $3,000 each, for example, to get the 67U convenience package would that be $3,000 for the 67T Electronics package plus $3,000 for the 67U Convenience package?
I don't think so. All the convenience package does is replace the seats with the climate controlled, motorized sport seats. It's an even swap. You order 67U or 67T for $3000. They're mutually exclusive even though 67U includes all the content of 67T.

Well, I'm sure Ford wants more money but they also don't want a Z/28 situation on their hands where they can' really move the cars after the initial enthusiasm dies down.

But, they could just produce a few more cars so that the supply is closer to demand which would eliminate ADM. Could explain why official production #s are hard to come by.

Makes sense, the Recaro's probably cost as much as the other seats so it's more or less a swap.

Actually... again after personally chatting with Jim Owens just a few days ago, it's true the Recaros are more expensive but once Ford factors in the costs of the other seats' heating/cooling components, different frame rails, power-related pieces, etc... then the costs for those seats narrow the gap. He also confirmed the other seats all-in-all are heavier than the Recaros.

I was just able to place an MSRP order for a 17 Ruby Red from a local dealer a few minutes ago and the prices on the VOC match what FPCV8Y0 in his post. Now to cancel or sell my 16...sigh.

Anyone know how much heavier over the Recaros?

Do they have more allocations? I'm thinking hard about whether to pay ADM this time around if my dealer asks for it.

Great info, thanks.

Now, if history is anything to go by, Ford Canada will probably charge us right at the current USD to CDN exchange rate, making for a 69k "base" price. Ouch, but possibly doable, especially since the electronics package I would want would cost "only" 3800, versus the prev 9000 for the tech package (and I would rather keep the Recaros anyway). Gotta think this through...

I can almost guarantee it wont be at the current exchange rate, it will be higher. Just look at history for the 350, the exchange rate used by ford was closer to 40%. The options were prices very close to actual rate back then though.
