Car got hit today while sitting at a red light

So I was on my way to work this morning, stopped at a red light to turn left at 4 way intersection. Im in the south position waiting to turn. A lady comes from the east position turning left and her car loses traction and the back end fishtails she jumps the median and hits right above my rear wheel. Preliminary estimate is just over 7K

Oh I'm pissed. The ford bodyshop is going to paint the roof black and get me the premium rear bumper. But I'm still pissed. The car will never be the same to me. May need yalls advice on deminished value claim.

You can get diminished value. It might take a lawyer. It's good you are using a Ford bodyshop. You won't have to worry about your insurance company trying to use aftermarket parts.

Id be looking to get out of it,quarterpanel replacements are
a nightmare and the ford dealer by me would farm it out to the lowest bidder
so be careful .

Good lord that's probably the worst place for a vehicle to get hit. Its going to need a quarter for sure, and bumper with all bracketry. Wonder what else it damaged underneath. Glad you're ok, can always replace a car, can't replace a human being.
