Mustang Buying Basics + COTUS Guide

Since COTUS is still in development and not an official Ford site they're still working out the bugs. There are several different versions. The qa site was actually being used as the mobile site for a little while. It seems all cars show delivered once they are built. Just use the www.cotus.ford.com site.

I have just recieved my updated dora, is shows a order number of '1' where does that put it in the order of things?

That's unusual. It should be 4 digits. Could be a letter and 3 numbers, but is usually 4 numbers. Can you post a scan or picture of your DORA?

Sorry, should have said it priority number has been changed to '1' from 28

That's the best you can get. In fact the dealership can't set it above 10. It's takes at least a regional rep to put it that high.

Cotus WAS working for me 2 days ago, but now when I check it says "no matching vehicle found". Should I be concerned??

Ford said this happens, website updates taking place, they said my car is still in the system. Probably not an issue, hopefully they build better cars then websites

Jeff from Ford sent me a PM late yesterday and told me according to his system, my car was still in production. I asked him to let me know when it is out of production. According to mostly what everyone else says it should be out of production by the end of today it's a three day production run.

Just got a new PM from Jeff this morning. My GT is now awaiting shipping! It is going to be a long 16 days until my DD.

Once you have that number you can track it via the phone:

CSX:

1. Call CSX at 1 800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press 1 on your phone for location
3. When prompted for the car initials, say them and wait
4. When prompted for the 6-digit car number, say or key-in your 6 digit car number
5. When prompted for the next car, either say 'Done' or press the pound sign (#) twice
