Just curious why the Cobra jet wasn't in the running. Wouldn't it outperform both of these, and if you have to cut the hood anyway? I ask because I am planning on running a high revving Cobra jet N/A setup for a bit before throwing a centri on there. Should I be changing my plans? Is there something I'm missing?

Dual throttle body and the gains over Boss 302 were not enough to justify ~$1000 more. for that I can buy and e85 kit or turn my boost up a .5psi.

Question:

I have a strong fuel smell after install...I noticed i have 2 injectors on the passenger side that are wet..Do the ID 1000's need a spacer with stock fuel rails and the Boss beefcake do you know? or do I need to re-seat the injectors?

on an n/a car, should have a spacer on the top and bottom, we always lube the o ring gaskets

What about a boosted car?
depends on the blower,

on a paxton, procharger will be the same

whipple kits come with their own rail setup and are shorter

U can use the stock size, just an fyi,i usually put just a drop of oil on the oring to keep it from tearing or twisting.

For those of you that want to clean up the hole that you had to cut in the hood, get 5/32 vacuum hose and split it open and slide it over. You can glue if you need to but mine is staying without any glue. I used about two feet and it looks really clean now.

I ended up buying black pinch molding from autozone for like $5 and it looks pretty good. Unless you are looking for it it is hardly noticeable.
