aggressive but work

285/40/18 I believe is a good route.
Thanks for you input. Also I have wheel spacers on all 4 wheels currently do you think I should leave them on the rear with the new wheel or is this something I have to test for myself?

So what difference in tire diameter, front to rear, is allowable by traction control, etc.?

Can you be more specific in regards to the question you have?

I was under the impression that traction control compares the speed of the tires, so if the rears are taller than the fronts by some amount, it throws a code or could go into limp mode or something because it's trying to correct for something wrong when it's really fine. Tire diameter would affect tire rpm. If so, what is the allowable tire diameter difference before it thinks something is wrong?

My quick math says the 305/35 is 28.4 inches so 28.4x3% = .850

The 275/35 are 27.6 diameter. I take the 28.4- .850 and I am at 27.548

That is cutting it very close to throwing a code.

No codes get tossed at all, we've done this setup before same tire sizes multiple brands that it comes in and no issues.

My apologies if this info has previously been posted somewhere...
I have the 20" Foundry wheels and factory 265/35 Pirelli tires.
I have no plans to lower the car or add any parts that may alter tire fitment or suspension geometry.
Question:
What is the max tire width with these 20x9 wheels that will fit inside both front and rear fenders without rubbing/preventing full steering range?

Okay, I know exactly what wheels that I want since I wanted these before on my 2013 Scion FR-S, but didn't pull the trigger. Now's my chance. I really want some Forgestar F14's in black, deep concave, for my new Grabber Blue GT Premium with the performance pack that will be ready in about 6-8 weeks.

What I plan to do with the car is daily drive, go to some car shows with friends, and occasionally go on a drive on a twisty road with friends as well. The most racing I'd ever see is if I got to take my car onto COTA for a few laps. That's about it and that would be a rare occurrence.

I'm looking for a square setup to run on Michelin Pilot SS's year round because we can do that here in Texas. Driving it daily and being able to rotate is always a plus. I'd like to not have to use spacers. I don't have plans to lower the car, but if I did, it would only be a slight lower like an inch, nothing major. I already dealt with 1 lowered car and it was a pita pulling into some restaurants and going over speed bumps with a body kit.

Now the question is, do I go 19 or 20? I'm looking for a nice flush fit and still keep the ride how it is, but I also want it to look really sweet.

19X9.5 or 20X9.5? I'm also not sure how the speedometer is affected by going up an inch in size.

For tires, I was thinking 275/35/19 or 275/35/20? Or even 285/35/19 or 285/35/20? Definitely doing Pilot Super Sports. Looking for suggestions on that piece.

The part I really don't know is what offsets I'm looking for and not poke even if I do decide to lower it an inch later for some reason.

Offsets are predone by them and or in our case we use our special in house offsets which guarantee the best fitment, as provided to you

19x10 deep concave 285/35/19 MPSS tires for the win.

Too bad all these companies making flashy 20" wheels don't make a better design for drag applications in a 17" other than the few generic ugly wheels available.
