Clutch problems or trans? I'm stumped

So while driving my car locked me out of gear at about a 5000rpm shift wouldn't let me go into third gear or any gear above . Rpm shifted into 6th and drove the highway home got to my gate and the car would not engage any gears. I got out and checked the brake fluid which was full which makes me think it's not the cylinders. The clutch pedal goes straight to the floor with no resistance. The car will go into gear with the car off and will stall once I release the clutch . Any ideas ?

I'm gonna say that the clutch is toast. Mine had similar issues when the disc let go.
