Tonight when I went to drive my wife's 2016 Mustang, the passenger side mirror starting clicking as it was trying to adjust from my wife's settings to mine (based on the key).

I pushed the stop/start to turn the accessory on/off and the mirror stopped clicking. It then adjusted as it should. When I mentioned this to my wife, she said this has happened to her about 5 times in the course of several months. It has happened on both sides.

Anyone else experience this? Any solution other than a trip to the dealer?

Thanks

I've had it happen a few times. Haven't done anything about it.

Mine clicks when I hold onto a direction where it's already at its maximum.

Yep , same thing here, I just hit the adjustment and it stops, hit memory 1 and it sets back to where I had it.

I wonder if this is an issue with the driver memory (seat/mirrors/interior light color) , I think only premium has that, correct ?

Ive got the same problem and don't really want to take it to the dealer as I feel they might make it worse. Its not a big deal so I just brush it off

I'd try resetting the door modules (DDM and PDM) with FORScan. I did that, and so far it hasn't happened again. And yes, it still happens even on my late 2019 Bullitt.

Hello I have the same problem. DId the probelm come back after your fix? If not, do you have any instructions on how I could do this myself with Forscan? I heard IDS was needed to perform, can Forscan do it as well?
