I really want to try this feature but this is my first MT car. After you engage line lock do you rev it up and dump the clutch or take off like i would normally do? Do i stay in 1st gear for the whole 15 seconds or at some point do I have to shift to 2nd gear? After the line lock is done the car will start moving or do i have to deactivate it?
Sorry if this has been asked before but i searched and i didnt find anything.
Thanks!

I think you should check out page 144 of your owner's manual...

Put it in gear, rev it up and dump it. Just like doing a reggy(regular) burnout except the car holds the brake instead of you.

Pages 144 and 145 of your manual describe how to engage and disengage it. Reading is your friend.

Once you've gone through all the menus and its active, I just put it in second gear, rev it up, and dump the clutch while giving it lots of throttle.
doing 2nd gear isnt harder on the drive train?

LOL

Ok, once you do the setup rev it up to 4K and dump the clutch. Once burn out is initiated, modulate the gas pedal to keep it between 4-5K RPM or bounce it off the limiter, your choice. It's really that simple. You don't have to burn out for the full 15 seconds, you can press OK and it will release the front breaks and you'll take off burning out like a bad ass. Just hold on, being noob do it in an empty parking lot or you'll end up on youtube or worst yet, a MEME on facebook / instagram.
