The wife has 2 mustangs taking up the garage with a lot of sentimental value and cannot be parked outside. So now my 17 PP is left outside exposed to the elements...And it hurts. Time to apply some wax!!

I plan on keeping her for a good while... Was just curious to how many of you guys have yours outside getting beaten by the sun.

I thought about it... But a buddy of mine is a painter and told me that all the cover will do is allow dirt inside and rub on the paint causing even more damage.

My mustang and my brother's mustang sit on the driveway. I park outside at work even though there's a garage. My car is outside rain or shine 24/7. It's fine.

Why would you ever park outside if there is a perfectly good garage available?

Car cover that repels water + cracking your windows down so the heat doesn't bottle up inside the interior. But ultimately you want in that garage!

Agree. I would only cover a clean car.

My garage used to hold her 12 YEAR OLD car (Acura TSX) and my 1 year old F-150 Lariat...until the mustang came along. Can you guess which car sits outside now?

Yup.

The truck.

I'm of the opinion that all a car cover does is grind the dirt into the paint.

I'm also of the opinion that paint should never be wiped or touched unless you're washing/drying/waxing it.

:)

claustrophobia, mostly. Also so people are less likely to park next to me.
