Anyone else have this problem? Just picked up the car last week. Drivers side door doesnt close flush. Passenger side looks fine.

That's easily adjustable. Is the door further out at the top near the belt line then the bottom near the rocker or equal all the way down?

If the door sticks out past the quarter panel equally from top to bottom you can slightly loosen the striker on the door jamb and move it in a little. Gently snug it up and slowly shut the door to check alignment. If your not happy readjust. If you are happy tighten the striker. It doesn't take a lot to make it right so take your time. It's really easy.

If for example the top of the door stick out past the 1/4 panel you'll have to adjust the door itself at the hinge. To do this you'll gently loosen the bolts on the door (leave them snug enough so the door doesn't get out of wack) and move the door inward slightly. Go slowly. Less is more. Once it's adjusted, snug up the hinge and SLOWLY shut the door while watching the fender to door gap, and door to 1/4 panel gap.

You can loosen the striker on the body and move it inward to adjust closure.

So there's enough play in the striker to allow me to adjust it about 1/4 inch?

So I tried adjusting the striker. There is no more than 2mm of play after I loosened it. See pics. (there's a black line where I drew where it rested originally). Door is still another 2-3mm away from flush.

Are you certain that's pushed all the way inward? You can also try angling the striker to offset it to pull it more inward. If this doesn't work let me know. Have you removed the striker completely? I've seen on many cars that the floating nuts sometimes get jammed. Please provide a pic with the striker removed.
Also you might wanna be careful using a sharpie. It can stain the paint and sometimes not be removed completely. A better choice would be masking tape or pencil

Here it is. Doesn't look like striker adjustment will do the trick. I may have to take it in to the dealers body shop for adjustment?
(Not sure why the photos keep rotating on me)

Did the nuts drop into the jamb?

No nuts needed. Screws tighten down on their own. Front of door feels nicely flush with front quarter panel

Correct but the bolts screw into a nut plate. With the striker off, close the door and push it in. How far will it close past the 1/4 panels edge?
