Has anyone tried Torco Accelerator with a Procharger & drag racing at the track ? Did it seem to help or waste of money ? Just wondering if you have to have a separate tune with the Torco or not , or just pour it in & go ?

Thanks for info !

Not torco but octanium and it works great,i have with it that 2 to 3 degrees more of timing and it is very noticeable.U can run it without a tune just for protection from a bad tank of gas but using octanium with a tune with more timing gives lots of

It says not to use with vehicles "equipped" with o2 sensors lol.

I use it full time. One can per tank. Lund gave me a specific tune for it. The octanium allows me to run more timing and boost.

we use octanium, but torco is essentially the same, it's a nice additive to help prevent detonation and get you an extra 1 to 3 degrees of timing and make some more power

I have a tune for mine that I have to run it. I have used Torco and VP Octanium and they both work great

I'm probably going to go torco now that my tune is dialed, and compensate for the shitty 91 we get. Half a can of torco should get me around 93 octane. Time to drop a pulley soon.

So there's no bad effects if you use it all the time? The extra degrees is cool, but I would like to run it as a peace of mind, in case of bad fuel.

I know people that have daily driven on it for tens of thousands of miles with no issues. Maybe change plugs a little more often.

Thanks for all the info Bro's, so it looks like you don't have to have a specific tune for it . I just wanted to try it for the track to help out a little but not for DD . I'm running Procharger P1 stg. 2 9# boost , LTH ,Lund tuned 593 hp 480 trq at 90 % humidity day which doesn't really matter I guess on SAE dyno jet . I going to try the Torco , from what I saw it's a little cheaper.

Correct u dont have to have a tune for it,if using it for cheap insurance against a bad tank of gas,but u wont get the added benefits of running it with a tune.
