Hi, I have been watching for a couple months and recently find a "deal" on 2016 GT Premium with 401a no pp. MSRP is about 42K. I am asking for 10K off MSRP and I feel they will be OK with it.

Is this a good deal? Also, last time I visited the dealer and wanted to try this 2016 car; however, there were battery issues and the car can not start. They told me it is something like out of battery. Is this a warning sign that I should be aware of? Just in general, what are the areas I should watch for when buying a past year model.

I went through lots of threads here and feel you guys are really helpful. Any inputs is appreciated!

Used 2016 GT Premiums are going for $35 to $37,000 out West on Cars.com. If you can grab a new one for $32,000 in California what are you waiting for?

A dead battery wouldn't be a deal breaker. The car has probably been sitting for awhile which also means they will be more likely to take that 10K off. Seems like a good deal to me.
