And we don't know the option list on the 350 yet. It could include more standard equipment, and have an over-all lower price. Just to piss off BMW as a parting gesture.

Wrong. 2017 GT350 starts at $57k. The 2018 will be either the same or a bit more.

Even if they make a MY 2018 there will only be 1500 R cars total. Just in case you didn't know Porsche made over 4500 GT3RS's worldwide at 225K a piece and an ADM of about 25K per car this year. 1500 is a pretty low number..

This seems under debate - as I researched it a month or so back. However many were made worldwide, it seems that the accepted US spec number is about 1500 for the GT3RS
