I wouldn't be surprised if it's nearly all the cars.... my 2015 is affected and so is my friend's 2016.

I have checked over 30 cars -all with the recall, except one I have in the plant now (build date starting yesterday).

I would guess ALL (prior to last month) are reflecting the recall until further notice or diagnosis.

I have run base, tech, track, convenience, electronics and R

Yup.... I'd bet all 2015-2016's. I have ran a random VINs already from early to late. From base to R's.

I'm pretty sure we witnessed this failure at the Track Attack, which I do not believe led to a catastrophic failure. I'm on the list too....glad I made it through the track season without issue.

No remedy yet..... Q1 2017 is the target. Oh boy.

Read Swedensky's post w/ Ford's letter to dealers... read it in detail.

I'm a winner!!!

Well I was just about ready to put my special lady up for the winter anyway.

You think Ford will pay for the flat bed to get my car up to my dealer in the spring??? :tsk:

Mine was built Aug 25. Checked the Oasis today and it has the recall. I'm going to bring it into the dealership (where I work) for a final wash tonight and park it for the winter. Luckily there will be snow on the ground tomorrow so although this affects me it will be ok. Lucky to have taken delivery before this recall was sent out !

I like to disassemble things.

We were told by the Director that the filter had vibrated loose and that the seal blew out when it couldn't hold out any longer.:ninja:

I'm on the list as well.

My curiosity lies in whether this was a manufacturing issue or a design issue. If it is a manufacturing issue and these weren't supplied according to spec is the supplier eating this one or were these done in-house?

Stupid question I know, but they absolutely must fix this issue despite having aftermarket mods that void warranty, correct? I'd assume this is a completely separate situation than warranty, but figured I'd just throw the question out there anyway.
