Baton Rouge S550s

Hey guys, I've seen many S550s in my area. Any of y'all on here?

Badass! I actually live in Denham, 10 min from Port Vincent. Hop, skip, and a jump from your neck of the woods. I have a daily driven Magnetic PP GT.

Any mods?

I'm just other side of amite river of port Vincent. PV is actually full of my family. My girlfriend lives off Jubin road at interstate. Several mustang buddies all from that area.

Just a tune right now. Just built a shop (I build cars as a hobby, Shelby cobra about to go to paint and a 33 ford will be next) so money is tight but hopefully spring time I'll put a blower. I had a tvs'd 11 and miss the torque.

Damn, small world lol. That's pretty awesome. I know two peeps around here with 5.0s and they are both supercharged. A white one, guy name shane, and a good buddy of mine EJ, has a blue one.

Who tuned your car? I have been tuning various cars for almost 7 years now, that's my hobby. The s550 is a new platform I will be exploring very soon with HPtuners.

I have both a vmp and a Lund. There are things I like and dislike about both and I'm learning what to expect (this is my first auto in years, last was a turbo 350 with shift kit and a manual valve body art carr aod , completely different world now). When I blow it, I'll probably stay with lund since vmp uses him for their tunes now.

Yea I hear you man. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Lund, it's who I would go with if I wanted someone else to tune mine. I'll be tuning my manual and a buddy's. I'm expecting good stuff out of it.

I see them around but no one I know personally.

Indeed. Doesnt seem like a very active local group. Would probably have to associate with the s197s too.

I hear you. I am starting to see them more too. Even an orange one in my neighborhood, but I don't see him often. It seems the S550 is starting to be a popular chassis, but seeing a 5.0 is rare, and then seeing one modded seems to be a unicorn.

I may have met you once or twice at a meetup through ryan bettevy, but it was more through the forums than anything. I recognized your username. Go figure we both buy a new mustang lol.
