I currently have the MBRP cat back but HATE this rasp and they have to go. I have new GT500's to install but also now have wondered about how well they perform with turbos? My plan is about 1000 HP.

Nah won't make that much. MAYBE at the flywheel of you pushed it real hard. But power will look like shit and take a lot of boost to do it. We make our down pipes easy to drop up front. So some guys use those mufflers and drop the exhaust at the track. Magnaflows work pretty well. Pretty quiet, too

Mbrp is a straight through. It will be better than gt500. If you are going turbo i would keep them. The turbos will act as a muffler anyway and reduce the rasp significantly.

Guess I'll see how the MBRP's sound like after a kits on the car then. If I don't like them still then I can go with the magnaflows.

Turbos will definitely quiet it down and chop up the rasp a bit. Cats being gone will make it louder though.

Another vote for the magnaflows...i have the Hellion twin turbo kit and initially had the same flowmaster x pipe/axle back setup that I had on it before turbos. Sounded hideous, like a tractor with tons of rattle from the mufflers. Learned that you want a straight through style muffler on turbo cars. I now have a complete 3" (no crossover) with magnaflows (#14319). Car is just a little louder than stock, which is how I like it. If you like it louder, #14419 is the smaller, race style version. Either one won't rob power as they both are a wide open/straight through design. Good luck
