Personally I think this looks horrible. The video doesn't really show this because of the washed out colors, but all you get is the 2 red brake light bars on the inside lighting up simultaniously followed by the amber blinker bar on the outside.

That's not even half the effect of a real sequential blinker plus it looks very confusing to other drivers due to the unequal colors. Probably a trafic ticket magnet as well if you get a police car behind you.

My advice would be do it right or don't do it at all.

There is someone who periodically found this "solution": as Eric already said, it's incredibly ugly, dangerous and you will probably be fined every time you are on the road.

It's like placing a Ferrari badge on a Fiat and pretend it has the same sound.. There is no easy way to have sequential on export mustang taillights, the only way is to open them, add a sequencer and red\amber leds where missing.

Don't know how these could even be compared:

I dont think that effort would look bad IF in combo with red tinted rear lights.

Then you remove the colour discrepancy problem.

If that works, you will have sequential turn in red, that is a problem in most EU countries.
If that doesn't work, and won't work since I have red vinyls and amber is still amber, you will still have two red and one amber.
Also the timing is completely wrong, resulting in a weird sequence :ninja:

If someone wants this only to say "hey I have sequential taillights!" ok, but it's not a well done mod.

Red indicators are no problem in NL.

I didnt realise the ambers still shine amber through a tint.

I thought they would be red.

Yeah but probably only in NL or also in BE maybe.

Look at the second video I posted, it's my car with clear EU taillights + red vinyls :)
We are lucky that they still shine amber, otherwise it would be very difficult to be barely legal around here.
