I'm looking to see who all is in the 1000WHP range, preferably on a centri car, and what setups are running at that level.

I know what fueling will be needed- got it covered.

Essentially just getting an idea of what intake, cams, boost (pulley combo), intercooling, etc, people are running.

If you are brave enough to do it on the stock shortblock I'd like to hear of your adventures as well.

My moment to shine.

Built short block by Modular Performance Solutions in NC.
- Manley pistons, rods, water jacket supports
- MMR OPG and TG
- MMR block brace
- ATI Balancer
- GT350 IM and TB
- ID1000 injectors

ProCharger D1SC Stage 2 system with 4.00 pulley - with ATI Balancer spins the blower at max speed at 7500 engine RPM and makes somewhere between 18 and 18.5 PSI of boost.

Stainless works 1 7/8 headers - no cats.
Stainless works performance connect catback.
QTP low-pro cutouts

Stock cams, stock valve springs and heads.

Built Stage 2 MT82 and RXT clutch and steel flywheel, braided clutch line.
MGW Shifter
DSS CF Driveshaft
BMR Driveshaft Loop
DSS 800hp halfshafts

You said you took care of fuel but I have a twin Walbro return fuel system from Fore pumping E85.

To actually hit 1000rwhp I'm going to need the F1A-94 blower, bigger injectors and probably a triple pump fuel system.

I ran out of what I assume is fuel pump at 850 (7500 rpm). Going to run a triple 465 with one on a Hobbs. Currently on DW95’s, likely going to 1500cc.

I’m thinking about the B302 intake as well.

The short block is kind of where I’m on the fence. I’m curious how well the stock sleeves hold up long term with the sleeve braces/supports.

My motor would start losing steam around 7000 rpm until I switched to the GT350 manifold. Now what's likely holding me back over 7500 rpm is valve springs (and blower speed). I think I'd still rather stay with a 7500 rpm redline and just increase boost if I'm going to add any more power.

Thanks for the info!

I’m doing a F1-a build right now and I knew it was good for 900+whp. I’m using ID1300’s and Fore Tripple hat return system with twin Ti274 pumps which should be enough volume to cover 1k whp. Tripple hat is for if/when I go twins and want to venture into the 1200+whp area.

Mine seems to not know when to quit, lol. Not sure where the peak power actually is on this combo yet (given adequate fuel).

It's a half mile car, so no wheel standing launches. I bought them when I was at a much lower hp level lol. Figured I'll just stick with them until one breaks. Hopefully without wheelhop or slicks on a prepped track they'll do just fine.

Impressive for such a simple set up!
How many lbs you seeing with the 3.33? Was that open blower also?
I think it's around 15-16 at 7500, open blower. I fat fingered the peak recall button on the gauge and reset it instead, lol. 22* of timing, really good E85.

What I wanna know is, how many cars on here ARE 1000rwhp?!? I'm sure there are more than a few twin turbo cars, but can't think of any blower cars off the top of my head...
