I said the ones on the outer edge of the dash...........but I did say right side when I meant left of the steering wheel.
Ahhhh missed that part. Threw me for a loop when you said to the right.

Thanks....I've edited my original post to make it clear I meant to the left of the steering wheel :)

I wonder if it'll be just the new gauges.......certainly they don't want you to see anything in that car!

One thing and, again, it's probably the camo playing tricks. Look to the LEFT of the steering wheel and there's a dark circle.....I'm assuming that's covering the HVAC vent.....but why circular when the current vent is a rectangle?

Long shot, but I wonder if we'll see circular vents on the outside edges of the dash, as per this official rendering from '15.

That would be a really cool interior..especially if the center stack screen was on all models. That looks integrated, flowing naturally..unlike another car in our class that has their center screen looking like someone just tacked a tablet onto it.

That would be nice but I really don't think Ford will change the interior much. Historically a refresh changes the exterior of the car but they do little or no changes to the interior.

That isn't always true. When they did the '10 refresh the interior got a pretty good update as well.

Why the need to cover the pony badge on the steering wheel? Could it be a special edition model? Kinda strange if it isn't.
It really looks like the pony badge has been cut out of the center of the steering wheel

The 2010 wasn't a refresh. It was a new model 5 years after the S197 was introduced. Kinda like the 94-98 SN95 and 99-04 New Edge. The 2013 was a refresh.

Hate to break it to ya, but ALL of the 94-04's are SN95's. Just like all the 05-14's are S197's.

Hell, "New Edge" wasn't even unique to Mustang, it was a design language. The 98-02 Cougars and similar year Foci were New Edges.

It caught traction with the enthusiasts but as far as Ford was/is concerned. . . same cars with new sheet metal, the chassis' underneather were identical.

I'm afraid Ford calls all Mustangs from 2005 to the end of production in 2014 S197. In 2010 a lot of the external lower sheet metal got changed but the green house and the chassis are all the same.

Actually to be really technical - the 94-95's even though coded as "SN95", still retained the Fox underpinnings and floor pan stampings - there was not much difference in the chassis from 87-95. Obviously the entire exterior shell and interior of the 94-95's were totally revamped, but compare any 94-95 unibody to the previous 87-93, it's nearly identical. There was even an article years ago which went through the 94-95 revisions proving same.

I believe we are just having an issue of semantics here. The definition of refresh. Let me be more technical in my explanation. Let's look at the Fox platform. It underpinned the Mustang from 79-04. While I would consider 79-93 to have had several "refreshes" I wouldn't consider 94-98 a "refresh". The Fairmont was a fox before the mustang and around a dozen other vehicles but I wouldn't say they were all "refreshes" of the Fairmont.
