Bama E85 tune

everyone keeps yelling Lund, but i just ran an 11.813 @ 117 in my GT PP with only JLT intake and bama's E85 tune. I haven't seen a Lund tune beat that by any reasonable amount or actually beat it at all. Im going to go check the 1/4 charts to see where i stand now and where other people stand with my same mods. im trying to make the jump to the Ngauge but i cant see it being worth it.

What was the DA? Bradenton? I've went 11.58 @ 120 with Lund/JLT/LTs. Got a timeslip?

I went 11.84 @ 118 on a e50 tune with stock paper filter and stock intake. Your trap seems low imho

DA was like -300 and i dont have long tubes. dont even have skinnies up front

i looked at your post though as a comparison and you traped 117.79. which could be anything your DA was -400 so who knows the .72 might have been from that.

Halfshafts? What tire? That's a chilly DA.. I wish I could run my car in that air lol.

Zaq, it's a stick car with 3.73s lol. We don't trap 3.15 auto MPHs.

I have trapped over 118 before, that particular run was 117.79.
Just goes to show that intake is a waste of $$

also to say that i was running E70 on a strictly E85 tune. i dont know. i just made this post because i cant see a big enough difference between lund and bama to make another 600-700 dollar leap to the Ngague. i mean people scream lund and im just like Eh. i just want some definitive proof or some insight on something i might be missing here in the bigger picture.

DSS 800hp half shafts and 275/55/17's MT street radial 2's in the back. on some old cobra R wheels. still stock tires and wheels up front.

Not really that big of a leap, considering you can either A. Sell your BAMA programmer to get the NGauge (which is leaps and bounds better than the X4 in every aspect possible) or B. Have them tune your x4.

I made the change from SCT/BAMA/other SCT tuners. Couldn't be happier. Now I just need halfshafts so it stops breaking lol.

People promote Lund because there are over a dozen of us running 11's with just a tune and tire (some have basic mods too) while Bama has one car doing it. If I closed my eyes and threw a dart enough times, I would eventually bull's-eye.

so you think im just a bulls eye? with a lucky good tune from them? i mean ive never had it retuned or data logged even though im going to soon.
