Will anyone be offering metal paddle shifters (or extensions) for the auto paddles on the S550?

I know I've seen these extensions for other cars before. I really want larger metal paddles instead of the stock units. :headbang:

+1 would be very interested if a company came out with a set of these. The stock "buttons" leave much to be desired.

This is the first thing that went through my mind when I heard that Ford was using paddle shifters. This is something very common with the BMW M crowd and they make a huge difference IMO. But then again they have a DCT transmission....Yeah we need one of those too

Any of you aftermarket shops interested in tackling this? Shouldn't be too hard to take apart the steering wheel and CNC some replacement paddles.

I will be. Bigger and made from carbon. Ferrari style...
Please-->Show us a picture of the Ferrari style your talking about.

They definitely need at least an one-two inch extension so I can keep my hands closer to the 10:00 & 02:00 position to allow shifting with my Ring & Pinky fingers. Now I hang my thumbs on the center steering-wheel brace so I can shift with my index finger-->:tsk:

If you lookup the cost of changing a clutch in the dct you'll change your mind lol

^ yeah, anything longer would be great. Right now they are too small to be practical, I have a hard time finding them when the wheel is @ certain degrees of rotation.

Would buy them yesterday if you actually end up making them.
