I saw this. Buying used car parts scares me. Does this manufacturer offer a warranty? And who does it apply to (how many owners)?

Warranty coverage almost always apply only to the original purchaser.

Usually all they do is reimburse you for the muffler shop to fix it which is usually 20 bucks max

Having installed many sets of BBK LT’s in the past on my prior 79-95 Fox Mustangs (including my current 94 Cobra) and my prior 96 DOHC Cobra - I’m completely aware of the LT DIY install pros/cons.... LOL.

So, I was wondering, how easy/difficult was it to do a LT install on an s550?

Check out my updates through out the thread. Longtubes are difficult on s550 in general but not impossible. Fitment on these was perfect. Just needed to add extension pipes at the secondary pipes that connects to the catback.

I gotcha. I’ll most likely just wait on these to be back in stock. Is there an eta or is it at random? Anything else comparable to these, price in mind?

It's just depends on when OBX restocks them. Maximizer is a sister company of OBX according to the eBay seller. You will just have to keep an eye out for them.

Headers are Headers. I think ull be fine. To be honest i wanted to get those. Price is tempting. But i got good deal on new SW Any way i think ull be fine.

Do these mate up with the stock resonator? Is a reduction adapter included from 3" to our 2.25" resonator?

I have a whole thread full of info and 90% is on the first post.

Im heading out tomorrow morning to pick up my car after long tube install. I was also impressed by the quality of the maximizer headers but my mechanic was not. He showed me a couple spots where the welds were done poorly and could have had potential leaks. Just a heads up to everyone that the quality control on these may not be the greatest. Not a big deal overall as it was easily fixable. Ill post up a sound clip tommo set up is maximizer longtubes + solo mach xv catback.

The pics of welds in the collector alone are enough to make me say hell no.
