Assuming it's a stick car given the instant wheels up.

Believe the white car is an auto actually, still the standard auto trans.
Well if that's the case it's setup horribly. All that energy lifting the heavy ass nose on these things is energy not moving it forward.

Donnie Gilder has the Steeda S550 stop the hop package (555-2129) & other Steeda parts ... he was able to cut a sick 1.31 short time on his 4th pass at the NMRA Spring Break Shootout in Bradenton FL, earlier in the year.

This is a daily driven, 2015 Mustang weighing in at almost 4200lbs with a stock 6R80 transmission.

What makes this so impressive is he is launching at only 3.5 lbs of boost on 17” wheels with barely any testing!

Ok horribly might have been the wrong wording... The setup could be better. Unless it's an extremely high power car ( again don't have full details, but have to assume under 1,000 hp) there is no reason for the front end to be that high up unless just want to to do it for show. While 1.31 60' is respectable what if it could be 1.25 or 1.28?

Since the IRS has extremely limited instant center adjustment (ride height only) we are left with springs and shocks as the only adjustments. And since this Steeda setup is rebound adjustment only on the front in my opinion it needs tightened up to slow down the front end coming up, and definitely not having the tires completely off the ground. There is a big difference between weight transfer and wasted energy.

Like I said energy raising the front end is wasting energy not moving the car forward.

Totally unrelated setup and car, but last night at a test session we went from 1.13 60' to 1.09 with just shock adjustments. Car left the line wonderfully and then about 20-30' feet out got on the wheelie bars with just sheer power as boost ramped in. Whereas the passes before it was instantly on the wheelie bars in the first few feet from too much transfer and again wasted energy.

My understanding is Steeda is continuously working with the owner to tweak the car, maybe they'll take your input and try it out.

They don't need my input, they know that. Just makes cooler marketing with the wheels up;)

Everyone can learn. Just how you approach the suggestion. You seem to have some informed insight (as opposed to being a blatantly misinformed internet expert), so maybe they will give your input a test.

I wouldn't be surprised if that photo was more for show and less for go. :clap2:
