Connecticut Shop Help

Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum and looking for local gearheads to talk S550's. I am in the Danbury area. Id like to find a local shop that does solid work and knows what we all want out of our mustangs...they aren't civics. I just got done with a complete suspension overhaul. Almost everything Steeda has to offer and lowered on BMR springs. I cant do alignments, so I am looking for a shop that know what I am looking for. Any recommendations?

If it's alignment I would try either Greco Tire on Mill Plain Rd or in Bethel, Belardinelli Tire

I know of EFI Logics in Bethel, but I can't comment on their alignments. You may have to leave the greater Danbury area, all depends on your level of comfort with local places. There are a lot of custom shops around (not too terribly far)


Do either of you auto-x or track your cars?

I will soon head to the track. Once this suspension is on. I've read a lot about making sure certain bolts are torqued under load. You guys know anything about this? Thanks for the info guys.

I was thinking of doing a track day at Lime Rock. I know on older cars when replacing certain bushings such as control arm you are not supposed to torque the retaining bolts until the cars suspension is loaded.

5/21 - Pocono Mega layout (Hooked on Driving)
June ???
7/7-9 - (likely) Pocono Mega layout (NASA-NE 7&8, Hooked on Driving)
August ???
9/2 - Pocono South (CART)
