Has anyone used G2's custom Ruby Red color on their calipers?

I'm thinking about painting mine and I like the idea of matching the color to the color of my Mustang.

Thanks.
Don't think they have Ruby Red, just Red which is what I did on my Ruby Red stang, the color match is pretty darn close.

I actually just came across one on instagram. Look up "rubyredig". I'm not sure if he used G2 or what but I'm sure you could ask him.
Will do. Thanks.

Looks good.

According to G2's website, they do custom color matching and Ford's ruby red is one of their custom colors.

I actually custom ordered deep impact blue for my buddies 2013 GT500 for his birthday. I'm doing his brakes next week. I did my buddies Evo last month and they turned out great.

The normal white was only $40ish but the deep impact blue was like $110 shipped from their website

All you have to do is go to G2's Custom Color Match Brake Caliper Paint tab:
http://www.g2usa.com/product/CBCP.html

Then you enter the:
Enter Year:
Enter Make:
Enter Model:
Color Code:

And it's $109.99

If you choose a standard color it's only $54.99 but I'd go to Tire Rack and buy it for $37

Just ordered G2's Ford Ruby Red from Stage Three Motorsports. $99.00 shipped.

Also order Brembo caliper decals in silver.

I've got another project coming up.

Those black are screaming for some decals man!
Nope, going fully clean, no emblems, badges or nameplates. My only concession was my stanginators.

Thank you!!
My ruby red G2 kit arrived the other day, but with the weather and the Holidays, I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to paint the calipers.

My plan is to put the car up on the jack stands, clean the calipers with a wire brush and the cleaner that G2 provides, mask off the calipers, and then paint.

I understand the paint needs 24 hours to completely cure, so I guess the car will be on the stands all day and night and I'll be ready to roll the next morning.

Sounds like you had enough paint for 3 good coats. I'm hoping for the same. What clear did you use on top of the nitrous blue?

I can tell you if you paint indoors in your garage..between coats ..you can use a heat gun to speed up the process..I used a high temp engine clear .

Thanks, Brandon. I was wondering about using a heat gun to speed up the curing. Maybe if I start early in the morning and use the heat gun, it'll cure enough so I can be back on the road that evening.

I'm just north of Austin but we're about to get cold weather. High today will be 79, but the low tonight will be 27 and the high tomorrow is 37. Then two more nights into the 20s before it starts warming up. Luckily no snow or freezing rain is forecast.

I know for our fellow members up north, this probably sounds like nice, mild winter weather. But for us Texans, this is pretty damn cold.
