Base Model install puddle lights?

I've searched and been all over but I want to get a set of puddle lights that install in the bottom of the doors that project on the ground... please help! One thing I find missing from my mustang. Anyone install any?

I believe they go under the mirrors

If you want the pony then you have to buy the 2013-2014 puddle light. Drill and dremel the underside of your sidemirror. Run the wiring inside with the dome lights or another light that turns on when you unlock your car.

These have to go under the door. Easy enough to install but the problem is they will only turn on when the door is open.

If the OP uses my suggested method and buys the projector lamps from the 13-14 model then he can dremel them into the sidemirrors and get an OEM style projection.

Actually I want them to only turn on with the door open.

My main question or concern is wiring it.

Has any one tapped into the dome light wires for anything? If so what wires are they and where?

Anyone know what color is the power wire for the dome lights and is it in the passenger side a pillar like older mustangs?

Does anyone know which wire (and how) to tap into to get them to turn on when you remotestart the car + open the doors.

Thanks all... that project is a failure... no way to connect to the door latch sensor... that would of been ideal.

Anyone figure this one out?
