I did the right side first , undoing the bolts and lowering the cradle to fit the caps. put the bolts back in and then leaving them loose and did the left side,

no problem putting the OEM brace back on as the hole is brace is hugh.

today we loosed off all the bolts and took the 4x 13 mm bolts out from the front braces, then using a ratchet strap and pry bar moved the cradle into position
making sure the bolt went in only using hand to turn if it started to bind take it out and move the cradle around and try again.once it is in then tighten up every thing to spec as per the instructions.
hope this helps

would suggest its not a one person task if it turns to
Ok thanks for the tip. I might try and completely button up one side before starting on the other. I'll
be doing it solo so might have to empty the swear jar before beginning.

How are people finding the bmr lockout kit in regards to performance and wheel hop, is it a noticeable difference, and worth getting.

Absolutely worth getting. You'll ditch most of the wheelhop with it but it isn't the absolute cure. I reached a point where I got rid of it altogether (add LCA bearings, FR toe/knuckle bearing/toe rods/camber arms/diff bushes) and it was absolutely awesome laying two continuous strips everywhere, but, the diff clunks with the diff bushes made it sound like it was broken.
With them removed, some hop remains...

Probably best you leave the diff bush until last anyways. I found no real issues with any of te parts I put in but the Steeda diff bushes were a step too far.
Pretty sure the BMR are slightly firmer again.
Best of luck with it

Thanks Burkey.
After feedback from this forum I decided to hold off on the diff bushings.

I new the other parts I installed wouldn't add any NVH, and I'm happy to report they don't. :)

BMR cradle bushing lockout kit = definite improvement in handling, particularly improving stability over bumps and improving wheel hop. No change in NVH.
So yeah, pretty much what everyone else said :)

I'm kinda considering trying the rears only just to see if it can be made into a liveable solution. Only thing that worries me is that it might place all the stress on the front rubbers. Not sure.
Would love to hear from Kelly BMR Tech and see what he thinks of that as a compromise/solution.

Burkey what sort of NVH did the Steeda diff bushes bring about? Can you describe it? I have a kit on its way with some other parts but not sure if I'll be arsed fitting it as the negatives seem to outweigh the positives.

What I found was that the sound of the backlash in the drivetrain was louder.
So, everytime I engaged the clutch Id hear a clunk. Autos may not find the same issue.
I didn't notice any extra hum or whine from the diff, but with my exhaust I really can't hear much of anything like that anyway.

the BMR stuff works, 1.45 60' with plenty more left in it. Confident we will get into the low 1.3's. The right parts and setup it is killer!
