the four week up date is tech line have told the dealer to order a new bottom end not a dressed motor and I am pudding for a replacement car.

Not happy at all Ford Australia

I have made a call to consumer affairs and they have advised me that I need to have letters drawn out lining why the car is not up to the standard expected and this is on the dealer and secondly onto Ford Australia. I have talked to the dealer and he has found a replacement car and has submitted the paperwork to Ford Australia. This was done on Wednesday and with Ford complains only confirming they received it on Friday afternoon.

My "Case Manager" as told me that any decision will take another ten working days. By this time my car will have spent more time at the dealers workshop then in my possession.

The salt into the wounds is that I took this car early over the one i ordered to help my dealer out. To do this I had to end my existing company car lease a month early out of pocket cost for me and many phone calls. So I can take delivery of what eventually turned out to be a car with engine fault from the factory. I believe my original car has nothing wrong with it and the owners are enjoying there pride and joy.

I was told they replace long blocks, as that's what they did with mine.

Despite all that has gone on that does sound promising.

I hope it all goes through for you with no more hassle from Ford.

Another update Ford CRC was called ten days after my application was lodged. My case manager told me that no decision has been made as yet and to call back on a Tuesday.

So many new meanings for CRC come to mind.

I just wanted to post an update. I have to thank Kalum and Marty at Cardiff Ford for all there help. The resolution has been a replacement car and I took delivery of it today. No its not Race Red but I do love the Double Black. I am very happy with this outcome and my advise for you all is find a good dealer and even if you have to pay a little more for your new car its the dealer who you will be relying on for future support.
