Ohio Thread

I did Nelson Ledges June 17th for their Saturday event of the opening event (16th and 17th). Track was fun, but not a value. $220 for the day, $10 "gate fee" per person and $5 for number stickers. Also while the track was smooth and fun, there was no curbing and the blacktop surface was anywhere from 2-4" above the grass level. 2 cars flipped and were totaled, everyone ended up being ok, but not a safe facility. Apparently they are addressing the curbing before they have anymore events there, but even then, the tire walls are dangerous and the facilities were terrible. Considering Mid Ohio is an hour away and Pitt Race is just 30 min further than NL, I probably won't go back.

Fastest was a 1:18.xx.

I will be at Mid-Ohio for Cincy SCCA PDX.
