Mustang on salome departing 27 may

Hi guys my car was built on 3rd may ..arrived at terminal on the 23rd.. expecting another 4+ weeks b4 allocation to ship... however i checked this morning and its already showing im on the salome departing on the 27th may! Has anyone else had such a quick allocation?

Yep, mine was built on 27/04 and arrived at the terminal the same day as yours. My car is on the Salome as well and it looks like we're both in Adelaide too, so I guess we'll have another couple of weeks to wait after it docks in Melbourne on the 29th of June.

152 Mustangs by the look of it, including my friends convertible. Still looks to be sitting at the dock in Baltimore.

With luck mine will be on the next boat!

Mine's also scheduled to depart on the Salome as well.
It was built 26/04 so I'm disappointed that it's been sitting around for so long gathering dust and rust.

The marine traffic website seems to suggest that the Salome is underway on it's way south!

I'm not sure how many other forum members have cars on the Salome. Mine was booked on the Salome about a week before departure but didn't show up as loaded on board until it had already left Baltimore and docked in Savannah!

All good now, a small sigh of relief. The Salome is now on it's way to Cuba. By the time it arrives here this car will be much better travelled than I am!

For those with cars on the Salome. It has now passed through the Panama Canal and is in the Pacific Ocean on its way to New Zealand!

Fellow future mustang owners that have cars on the Salome.. it has left New Zealand and on its way to Australia!

If it takes the same path as the Tijuca its next stop will be Brisbane, then Port Kembla (which is below Sydney) then Melbourne then Fremantle. Once it hits Brisbane it sits in port for a day, travels to the next port in a day, day in port and so on...it won't take long to get to Melbourne once it hits our shores!

The Adelaide cars come off in Melbourne and from there you can track them on the Ceva web site using the VIN. Should take less than a week to get to Adelaide, then you're in the hands of the dealer.

AB ford took 2 looooong weeks to get mine ready, but they did have to fit the spoiler.

I can't believe my car is actually on the boat, it seriously felt like that will never happen and if you guys are right, it should hit Melbourne next week! WHOOOHOOO

The Salome has now left Brisbane and is on its way to Port Kembla. It's due to arrive on the 28th and then on to Melbourne. It should arrive there on the 30th.
