I bought the Bowden's foam cannon and their snow foam....
How are you both finding their snow foam? I've used it twice now and while it foams and dwells well, I'm finding it doesn't actually seem to lift much dirt? I get better performance using Meguairs Soft Wash Gel as snow foam. I like several of their other products but their snow foam isn't doing it for me.Yea got the snow foam and canon...
I love it. Works a treat on the pony and the Mrs Hilux :cheers:How are you both finding their snow foam? This is the first snow foam I have ever used (first mustang for that matter ) and the advice on the Bowden's site is that you generally follow up with a two bucket hand wash. I think they claim that the snow foam could be a touch less system but I think The car wouldn't need to be pretty routinely washed in a low contaminant environment or something.Interesting. I wash my cars once a month at best, just don't have the time to do it more often and so the daily driver in particular (parked outside 24x7) usually has a good coat of dust. The Bowdens is lucky to remove half of it and so definitely needs to be followed up with a hand wash. The Meguairs removes 90% (you can visibly see a difference in the foam as it runs off) and so if you had to could leave it at that.
Are you using the recommended 100ml in 900ml of water or a stronger concentration?
Much wringing out required during the drying process?Anyone tried this towel as well?
For washing it absorbs plenty before you need to wring it. Not that bad. I wipe the car abt 80% before the towel before needing to be wring. If you use 2 towels then no need to wring. Used one for my Mazda 2 and the towel wasn't even fully wet which was great.Much wringing out required during the drying process?
The microfibre towel I currently use gets waterlogged very quickly.
