Considering picking up a '14 GT with a manual for a DD. Base model with 9400 miles on it.

Anyone have any opinions on this? My '15 was the first Ford I ever bought.

Short-term, purely a DD that I'll leave alone (yeah right). Long-term, the intent is to pull the Whipple'd/Auto out of the '15 and put in the '14. Then the '15 gets built motor, turbo and TH400 swap #becauseracecar

Thanks!

A DD is a Toyota Camry, not a Ford Mustang 5.0 you plan to supercharge... haha.

Haha. It's a disease.

If the markup on Focus RS wasn't so stupid, I'd get one of those.

I just really like the Gotta Have it Green 11-14 cars...

And I'd back the combo down when I swapped things over. Leave the ID1300's, fuel system, etc. in the '15 and convert the Whipple to a Stage 2 with Whipple's canned tune.

Just a 600RWHP DD. :D

I like the seats in the 2011-2014 cars better than those in the 2015+.

The stick axle will live with more power put to it over time than the IRS.

I don't really like the appearance of the front end of the 2013/2014 cars. To me they look pig nosed and cross-eyed. But if you like the looks, why not go for it? The more Mustangs you own, the better!
