MMD difuser vs difuser fins?

I want to add one of these to my base bumper and do a custom cutout quad tip for my corsa system. I plan on plasti dipping the whole power portion. Do you think im better of with the difuser or just add the difuser fins?

I'd go with diffuser fines. The MMD diffuser looks terrible and fitment looks really bad.

Why not modify your base bumper to fit the Roush quad rear valance?

Are those the only options without cutting/replacing the base bumper? Looking to do similar, but both those options seem flimsy and unsecure. Rather not have them fly off at speed.

There are other options too, I think Ikon has something...all involve cutting except the Velox I believe.

All the other options are extreme and tacky looking.and im not going to waste time cutting the bumping trying to get stuff to fit

Here is a comparison of a base bumper modified for quads and the gen 1 MMD diffuser next to a GT350 Rear valance with premium bumper.

Yea just sucks 500 for ikon bumper plus paint plus 300 for corsa quads

I honestly didnt even know the difference in rear bumpers at first. I got home and was like hmm the whole bumper is painted on mine.thought i remember seeing plastic parts on them. Duhhh

Eventually I will bite the bullet and get the Ikon or the ever more expensive route of buying a premium bumper and then diffuser. Its a shame the the pieces of the premium bumper aren't sold separately since you lop off the bottom no matter what when you add a good diffuser.

Agreed. I like the ikon but its kinda blah in style if you really look at it.i think the rtr looks the best

I feel you as well.. I really wanted to put the Roush rear end on mine but when I realized I had to get a while new bumper because it was one piece.. I decided to lightly sand and paint it and put my own Universal rear diffuser fins on. And they bolt on..and have covers to hide the screw Bolts.
