Ford Nationals 2017

Carlisle Ford Nationals

Just registered for my spot in this year's Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA. Anyone else going to be there? This will be my first time attending. What should I expect?

Yes!

They give you a nice looking plaque. I won first place in the 2015-2016 Mustang GT class. There were 40 cars or so in our class.

Final nail in the me not going is my daughters high school graduation is that weekend :(

I went last year for the first time. Heading there for the second year in the row! You will expect a large crowd of like minded enthusiasts there. I was personally impressed by Ford Performance's presence there, with the true technical knowledge that is available on tap.

Additionally, the was a large presence of major players in the mustang aftermarket world. There are some good deals to be found there as well. I highly recommend that you download last year's event catalog and also check out the events website for this year's show.

Expect a great atmosphere with something for everyone. The event is highly organized, and it is certainly well worth the trip. My uncle (who happens to be in his 60's) and I both had a fantastic time. Save a wad of cash, you will find some great deals there!:ford:

I've been going since 2011... Expect 85% Mustangs, most of them built from appearance parts straight out of the AM catalog.

Each Class will have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. Its a people choice award type deal. If you win, you would actually get a Plaque. I won one a few years ago in the 1969/1970 class

I just registered under M6G and got my hotel booked. Waited to damn long this year ended up having to book up in Mechanicsburg :-(
