What is everyone using as tow rigs?

I've been looking for something but was curious to know what everyone was using. My 91 Toyota 22re isn't going to do the trick.

One of these

Ultimate work horse.

This one is currently being turned into a long bed dually as well as 2010 front end.

This is the wife's truck but I use it on occasion.

I tow my 95 to and from the track with a 12 Jeep liberty. Of course my 95 weighs 2800 pounds and not 3850 like the 15 does.;)

Man you all have some serious trucks lol. With my pockets being considerably shallower I'm looking and half ton trucks..... older ones.

My pockets arnt that deep either, I ended up building my 2010 f150 for hauling.
Its got an eforce supercharger tuned by mpt, air bags, roadmaster active suspension, rancho adjustable shocks and struts. It pulls like a bitch! Ive hauled 10k skid loaders no problem, and yes it handled it and stopped the load safely.

Look for second gen Dodge Ram 2500s with a Cummins. They run forever.

^This. Back when I was doing some SCCA racing I used a diesel Dodge as my hauler. It was surprisingly reliable for it's price point. In fact it was probably the cheapest element in my short career in SCCA. Racing is expensive.

I only have the top three now. I sold the bottom three. The only expensive truck I own is the wife's ride. I buy most of my trucks really cheap. Wrecked, blown up, basket cases, or whatever. Then I build them by into what I want. If you count my time they probably aren't worth what I have in them but I enjoy doing it. I usually sell them and make a few bucks to get the next one.

I've towed with an F-150. Did it get me there? Sure. Does a 350 dually do it better and way more comfortable and more safely? Absolutely. When it comes to trucks I'm a Ford guy. I've had a few Dodge and Chevy trucks. You couldn't convince me to buy either of those two ever again. My worst Ford truck was 3 times the truck any of the others I've owned have been. Of coarse this is just my experience and I completely understand not everyone has had the same one.

I have a 1999 F250 super duty I use to plow my driveway. It's a great tow vehicle. I rarely use it for that, but it works awesome when I've needed it. It's a regular cab, long box with the V10. It's nice and heavy so it lays down on the road and the trailer will rarely push it around. It actually rides a lot better with lots of weight in the bed or on the hitch. I bought it with 230,000 miles on it about 6 years ago. Very reliable and I would highly recommend something like it for an inexpensive pickup with good capabilities.
