I have it. Good for 500 horsepower, only 50 dollar install from your friendly local Ford dealer.

Anyone?

Yes, I'm waking this thread up from the dead... has anyone done the Roush Tune yet? I can't find any reviews on it. I don't want this thread to be about how good other tunes are. For the price of just it seems like a good alternative. I would think someone on this forum has done it.

I've never even heard of anyone who did a Roush tune on an EB.

I've not heard of anyone with this either... but with that price, plus the warranty is optional, I'm not sure you will... not with the options out now. Choice is good though.

Well you can get the voucher for about $389+shipping then the optional warranty. They updated it recently with a dongle that will allow you to install at home (which adds about $100) to that price.

The Ford performance tune out performs it for half the price with a warranty that Des not void factory. Kind of a nobrainer to me. The numbers on that tune are not peak.

The FP numbers are still higher. If you calculate the approximate 12% drivetrain loss from the FP Flywheel numbers or 100 HP gain and 70 tq, you still end up with 88 RWHP and 61 ft/lb RWTQ gain compared to Roush's 60 RWHP and 51 ft/lb RWTQ.

Based on what I've seen/heard between those two kits, I'd go with the FP kit.

ford claims HP up to 335 and torque at 390.the 100HP gain is at 6000rpm and not applicable to the roush numbers.use the 335/390 to compare.

Rush is claiming the same at 6200 rpm

Sorry, make that 6550 RPM which is red line. Not peak.

Also power train loss is about 15% with manual and 19-20% with auto not 12%
