Yeah, the Henry Ford Museum would be cool. Downtown Detroit is pretty safe nowadays, lots of things going on down there. Lots of places to eat plus if you're into it, there are two casinos down there. Catch a hockey game at the Joe Louis arena (last year before they move to the new arena). Probably plenty of other things to do but I'm kind of a homebody and not up on the downtown scene.

Yeah, I checked that one out. Kind of wondering if a few parts in that kit are 'really' necessary or not. I mean, do you really NEED the IRS subframe alignment kit and subframe support braces? I was checking out BMR's parts and they don't recommend either of those. I'm currently awaiting a FB inquiry with BMR that I sent Saturday night, he got back with me and I answered a question and now I'm awaiting his reply....they're probably busy, being a Monday.

To the members that have purchased it, yes, they would recommend it.

You can always piece it together & stop one you are satisfied ... either way, win-win.

Vinsetta's Garage in Birmingham is always a fun place if you are in town ... rich history & about 30 miles north of Rockwood.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. We have been going up to Rockwood twice a year for the past 30 years and this time it will be for nine days. That's why I was asking about where to visit and wondering if there was something interested we haven't been to before.

We'll probably do the Ford museum again hoping this will be the time they let me drive the Wienermobile. ;) We have done Greenfield Village, but this in not the time of year to go again. It's too bad the Eastern Market won't be open while we are there. Maybe we'll go down anyway and grab lunch at Supino Pizza.

We'll do the M Store in Ann Arbor and get lunch there too, just don't know what's good in that area. We will definitely check out Vinsetta's Garage.

Any other lunch suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

eastern market district is open year round sat 7 -4 & greenfield village holiday nights are nice entertainment, if your into the christmas seen.

Unfortunately, it is not open to the public - but the cars can usually be seen cruising Woodward or hanging out at any given time:

Just know - we are in the area
