Just picked up a new '16 GT Vert at a ridiculous deal

Hey guys, been lurking here for a couple of weeks but just brought home a new 16 GT vert with Performance Pack for $35k pre-tax. It was 10k off sticker, no haggling or anything. Initially when I found it I thought it was a mistake or a dealer playing games with discounts but it turns out that this dealer had 100 of the same exact cars after a Neiman Marcus promotion fell apart (http://blog.caranddriver.com/neiman-marcus-is-selling-a-95000-700-hp-ford-mustang-convertible/). Instead of sitting on them they are just trying to get out from under them. Next best deal I could find was about 3k more for a demo model. I wish it had a few more options but couldn't pass it up!

Wait.... Is that a PP Vert? I thought those didnt exist?

I have to say, that's pretty damn crazy. Vert/PP/Premium, 34,995... I almost paid (32.5) that for my PP base.

You can order them from Ford with PP. Just not an auto.

They have 44 of them.....wow. I bet you could get more off than that, especially considering its not convertible season.

There were 100 of these cars ordered by Neiman Marcus. See below specs:

Ford would not warranty them after the modifications so Neiman Marcus pulled the plug after building 3 of them. They cost $95,000!!!. There was one on eBay for a while from Russ Milne Ford but is gone now.

I bought mine from a dealer in Indiana for $33,799 last month. They did a dealer trade 9 months ago and could not sell it.

Wow! I thought I did well at 35k. Also didn't know the warranty thing. I Was going to ask the sales guy when I picked it up but I was rushing to get out of there. I had a 9hr drive back to Maryland.

I think you are fine because the cars dont have the equipment Ford wasnt going to warranty(supercharger)
