I haven't seen Guard in person (I've only seen one other S550 aside from mine, a silver Ecoboost), but in photographs 90% of the time it looks indistinguishable from Magnetic. Seems redundant to have two basically identical colors.
100% false.

100% True.

If you are colorblind guard and magnetic are almost identical.
In fairness, if you are colorblind, triple yellow, black, and race red would all look the same as well.:D

Magnetic and Guard are very close, and they photograph almost identical, but they are not the same in person. I won't bash anyone's preference, because that's all it is, but guard just pops off the car a little more to my eye.

I hafta disagree on that. Yes they look somewhat alike in lighting but when you see them in there true color they are different. I wouldn't say he's color blind, that's like saying a blue and a black sock look the same

Depends on the lighting. I've seen it to where they look nearly identical and other times where they appear drastically different. And I'm talking about the car colors, not socks (although the same applies lol).

I prefer Guard btw.

both the 2015 black and the shadow black of 2016 could be the same color just with a fancy name.

nope, but this was only for cars, there was a separate brochure for trucks and I didn't grab that one.

As long as there is no Highland Green I'm safe with my order.
Well, what you could do is order white, then take off the paint and repaint it Dark Highland Green.

Depending on the light, Magnetic and Guard can look nearly identical. I had a dealer telling me one evening that we were looking at Magnetic and I had to show him the window decal to show it was Guard.

Just to clear things up, Tuxedo Black Metallic is Metallic and Shadow Black is a non-metallic paint. That is your difference. Source:(I work at a Dealership in NC)
