I should have just done the same spot for the windows down WOT but that was about the 5th time within an hour that I went WOT on that stretch of road and I didn't really feel like getting a ticket today lol

March! They lost me
Yep, me too. Not waiting 3 months. I need something on this car now.

Corsa does have a really nice tone though, only thing is, it's lacking some bass, prob why there is
zero drone, that's been tuned out. This exhaust is more mid range to treble sounding.
Magnaflow more bass to midrange, and I think the FRPP is kind of in the middle.
If for some reason I don't end up purchasing the FRPP in the next few days, the Corsa is still on my
list.

Anyway, if we got a group by going, could we get these a little faster ?? ;-)

Does Corsa's S550 GT exhaust feature 4- or 4.5-inch tips? Regardless, their system looks great and sounds fantastic! Thanks for the pictures and videos, bakerjd!

Bass or deep tones have nothing to do with drone. Drone is caused by specific wavelengths "clashing" (very brief definition). This exhaust is full of deep tones. Depending on what you may have used to listen to the video, maybe that setup is lacking. This is not all to similar to the Corsa systems of old where it "sounds exotic". I'll give the guys a call and see if I can get them to ramp it up or supply ANY info.

I think everyone here will be pleasantly surprised by the timeline for release (after my discussion with one of my contacts this morning). That's all I can say.

I want to say 4 inches but I'm honestly not sure. I know they told me but I can't remember. I'll measure them and report back shortly.

Ramp it up!
I'm also interested in their sport or the exhaust one step below in sound to the one you have.

Is it a full cat back or kinda like they did on the s197's? A X-pipe/axle back combo.

The bass wavelengths are longer (peaks and valleys are spaced further apart) and create more air pressure, thus creating the drone at certain frequency.
It's that low resonance that creates the drone.

If you think of the exhaust system as one long speaker, it makes sense.
On an audio system you will never get the treble or midrange speakers to reproduce those low bass tones, they will not vibrate or rattle the inside of your vehicle, even if they do go in and out of phase. Add some 18" subs in the back and when they hit the right low frequency, rattle boom, bam drone.

There are some ways to combat this, thus the reason Corsa uses their RSC system, which tries to emulate the same lower frequencies, thus canceling them out.
