Interesting they say all 3 were 2018s, yet the white one which was the only one they commented about has 2015-17 hood, fenders, taillights, rear fascia, etc. and no visible parts from a 2018.
White one looks like a test mule by the looks of the exhaust pipes and hacked up rear fascia.

From what I have received the weight is going to be around 4036 lbs for the V8 auto(fastback). Can anyone confirm this. Just as a reference the Camaro 2SS weight is
3*57lbs with the auto. That is a substantial difference

Interesting that the white '17 GT mule is still sporting single exhaust tips......all the GT mules we saw last year had the dual tips......and it's way too late to be test anything that imminent for production

Where are you getting this information from? My current 15 premium auto weighs 4010 including a 270pound driver! I seriously doubt they are adding 300 pounds of sh!t to the 18s.

Lots
Lots of extra plumbing for DI. Add a spare tire kit and fully optioned, it easily could reach 2 tons.

As for Camaro, that’s GM’s epic Alpha platform which originally was designed for the Cadillac V Series and gifted as a hand me down to Camaro courtesy of GM’s creditors and taxpayers. There may not be a lighter, more rigid, non-CF chassis in the world. That’s why Camaro actually drives so well - and why anything Mustang manages to wring from S550 is a bloody miracle by comparison.

It's info I have received from a dealer here in Sweden. Also one of the info stickers from Frankfurt auto show was showing the same

Edit: found it, it's actually stating 4173lbs (1893 kg)

You sure thats not the maximum vehicle weight? As in full fuel, 4 people in the car and luggage in the boot?

If this car is really over 1800kg without a person in it then I could just simply end up cancelling my order, as it would be slower than outgoing models if its gained nearly 100kg.

As such it has to be maximum vehicle weight as Ford hinted this car is quicker, which if it was over 100kg heavier it would not be faster.

This most likely is the new Euro norm weight which is defined as the actual vehicle weight + 100kg.

Even with this it doesn't sound right (still 100kg too much). More likely a vehicle weight +200kg is more right
