Interesting they say all 3 were 2018s, yet the white one which was the only one they commented about has 2015-17 hood, fenders, taillights, rear fascia, etc. and no visible parts from a 2018.

White one looks like a test mule by the looks of the exhaust pipes and hacked up rear fascia.Interesting they say all 3 were 2018s, yet the white one which was the only one they commented about has 2015-17 hood, fenders, taillights, rear fascia, etc. and no visible parts from a 2018.
Where are you getting this information from? My current 15 premium auto weighs 4010 including a 270pound driver! I seriously doubt they are adding 300 pounds of sh!t to the 18s.From what I have received the weight is going to be around 4036 lbs for the V8 auto(fastback). Can anyone confirm this. Just as a reference the Camaro 2SS weight is
3*57lbs with the auto. That is a substantial difference

This most likely is the new Euro norm weight which is defined as the actual vehicle weight + 100kg.You sure thats not the maximum vehicle weight? As in full fuel, 4 people in the car and luggage in the boot?
If this car is really over 1800kg without a person in it then I could just simply end up cancelling my order, as it would be slower than outgoing models if its gained nearly 100kg.
As such it has to be maximum vehicle weight as Ford hinted this car is quicker, which if it was over 100kg heavier it would not be faster.
At 1684kg and 1697kg, isn't that basically the same as the 15-17?Ford website has weight for 2018 GT hardtop at 3705 (man) 3733 (auto).
Yep, just looked at the 17 website. The same. Maybe 18 specs page hasn't been updated. At 1684kg and 1697kg, isn't that basically the same as the 15-17?
Even with this it doesn't sound right (still 100kg too much). More likely a vehicle weight +200kg is more rightThis most likely is the new Euro norm weight which is defined as the actual vehicle weight + 100kg.
