The 2017 RS was said to have only 325HP, right? Then the over boost for 10 sec per WOP throttle was introduced that got it above 350HP. If this function is coming to the ecoboost mustang, than it sure would be more than a torque increase.

To tie this all in, the v8 would need a suitable increase in power as well to match.

Cough Cough, the 2018 F150 got a 10 HP increase, so that would make 445 HP for your 2018 Mustang.Wake up gang, your in DREAM LAND if you think anything above 450 HP For 2018,where you might get a big gain is in the weight,Ford might tack on another 50 or 75 LBS.:D

I am starting to see some pretty sweet 2018's now. A neat looking deep metallic blue(purple tints) w/305's squared up on some sweet wheels and Recaros.

Sounded different too.

Well on the bright side, I feel like we should be seeing order guides any day now since order banks are supposed to open in less than 3 weeks.
Translation: we should be seeing order guides by July 18 since order banks are supposed to open in less than 3 weeks.:headbonk:

I think what we can all agree upon is that it's taking too bloody long of Ford releasing official numbers
Yeah. It's kind of strange, they really could easily build up some hype with teaser images or videos just like Dodge did with the Hellcat. But Ford is just doing nothing. At the moment I just think order banks will open and the number will be there, without any big news.

To me this silence seems like the new power numbers are so unimpressive that they decided to say nothing

I thought I heard overall Mustang sales had dropped recently? So that could explain a lack of hype, and delayed production.

Well in the past (and with the 2018 F-150) order guides leaked out a couple weeks before ordering opened up. That's what I meant.

Been speaking with a guy at a Ford dealership here in Houston. I asked about stock 2018 Mustang GT numbers and he said the word on the street amongst the dealerships was the GT was coming in at or very close to 470. I've become more interested in their Roush performance packs to slap on a supercharger stock to a 2018 come later next year. If the 2017s are making 670. I'd bet the 2018 push over 700.

:headbonk:

Because Ford dealers in Houston are in the know.

The next thing you know, the 18GT will have 4.8L V8.
